La Petite Coquette, a nationally & internationally renowned lingerie boutique with more than 30 years of customer service, is looking for an intimate apparel buyer/planner. The store is famous for its eclectic assortment and is seeking someone who has a good sense of style as well as the foundation of retail math and merchandising.
Description
Job Responsibilities:
*Manage, update and review OTB Plan
*Prepare detailed daily, weekly and seasonal sales analysis based on history and current trends in order to strategically forecast future orders
*Prepare replenishment orders as needed
*Develop and plan seasonally appropriate merchandise assortment, while paying special attention to class structure
*Serve as a direct liaison between vendors and the company
Skills
*Must have strong analytical, financial, strategic and planning skills
*Must be a team player who can work effectively in a fast paced environment and possess the ability to multi-task
*Must be a go-getter, with a “can-do” attitude and a true excitement for business
*Must have a strong sense of style with a keen understanding and interest in fashion and trends
*Must have excellent communication skills
Job Qualifications
Job Requirements:
*University or College degree in Fashion Merchandising
*3+ years of buying/planning experience in a fashion company
*Excellent Retail Math, Microsoft Office and computer skills
*Knowledge of Retail Pro software is a plus
