| Buying a woman lingerie can make her feel sexy, but it can also make her feel dreadfully insecure if it’s not flattering for her body type. Here’s a few ways to assess the situation and find the garment that will make her feel sexiest! |
| If she's sensitive about: |
Hips or thighs: |
| Try a chemise, slip, or pajamas that flow loosely over that area.
Derriere: |
| Find something that doesn’t hug the hips— a chemise, slip, long gown, pajamas, or camisole set with fluttery shorts. Choose fabrics that drape and don’t cling.
Cellulite: |
| Get her something that deemphasizes her dimples. Try a silky slip that hits at the knee and skims the body, or maybe a low-cut camisole or a gown with an open back that shows off the body parts she likes.
Tummy or waist: |
| Go for anything with an empire bodice that flaunts her top but is breezy and flowy beneath. Babydolls fit this bill.
Large breasts: |
| A beautiful bra in a larger size is something every big-busted girl appreciates. Also look for camisoles or nightgowns with extra support sewn into the garment.
Small breasts: |
| A demi-cup bra can make any girl on the A-list feel voluptuous. Camisoles and nighties with ruffles, ribbons, lace, and contrasting textures over the bodice create the illusion of more volume up top.
Legs: |
| A long gown is the answer. If she wears pajamas, upgrade her to an elegant silk pair.
Upper arms: |
| Look for something with sleeves. Chemises and gowns with fluttery sleeves, robes, short silky wraps will arm her with confidence.
She's pregnant: |
| Play it safe with loose, comfortable items that have empire waists. Poet shirts or tunics are beautifully Bohemian.
